A Bit About Me
May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be in your hearts. It is a great joy for me to be able to share a little of my story. I thank God for the wonderful opportunity to serve Him, for the great privilege of being able to share with all of you how great and wonderful Our Lord Jesus Christ is.
My name is Antonio Cordero, born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, and retired from the armed forces after serving for 24 years as a Military Police. God gave me the opportunity to travel with my family to different states in the U.S., where I had the privilege of working in different evangelical councils, and assuming leadership positions in different ministries such as: worship ministry, Youth Leader, Children's Leader. In this journey of more than 30 years, I had the privilege of being instructed by different ministers of God, in sound doctrine. I was also able to learn valuable lessons from great pastors that helped me form my character and develop as a leader.
My plans were always to return to my homeland after I retired and spend the rest of my life in my Puerto Rico. My wife, Bruni, felt from the Holy Spirit that we should not stray from God's will. I ignored what she told me and proceeded to petition the Department of Defense to allow me to retire from my last three years of service in Puerto Rico. The request was approved, and I proceeded to purchase a home in an exclusive location in our country. The results of my disobedience began to take effect, consequently affecting my life and that of my family.
At work, a persecution arose over my life, they raised false testimony about me, and tried to destroy my military career. This led me to an emotional crisis where I ended up hospitalized for months in a psychiatric center. Because in my workplace there was a toxic environment which caused me severe depression; the psychiatrist made the recommendation that I move from Puerto Rico, and this is how God placed me in the state of Arizona. I moved alone to Arizona, and I left my family in Puerto Rico. The effects of the medications were affecting my mind, and the depression led me to want to divorce my wife. I told her my intentions, and this was a great surprise to her, and this whole situation caused her a lot of pain. But she always told me that God had united us, and that he had decreed promises over our lives. She began to pray and intercede for her family, and began to believe God and his promises. I persisted in my stubbornness and looked for a lawyer to start the divorce proceedings.
From the fruit of our love were born my first son, Marc Antony, and my daughter, Sara Iris. They also suffered greatly during this process and also fought to keep the family from being destroyed by the devil. I was weeks away from filing for divorce when I had a phone conversation with my daughter, Sara, where she was anointed by the Holy Spirit, and God used her to minister to my soul and spirit. In this conversation, God brought me to my senses. I stopped taking medication and stopped seeing a psychiatrist. God restored my life and that of my family. In 2016, through various prophets, He made a pastoral call to my life.
God revealed to me that the name of the church would be called the Potter's House, because individuals and families who are hurting and need to be restored and pass through the Potter's hands will enter this place. A church where the word of God will be preached, where respect for God will be restored, and where we will give freedom to the Holy Spirit to minister to lives.
If you don't know God or you're estranged and God has moved you to this state, and you don't know what your purpose is, we invite you to our Church, where you will experience how God will transform your life and that of your family.
See You Soon
